Own domain name for a Shopify store

Scheme of actions:

  1. Register a domain and a name server (DNS) service
  2. At the provider's site add 2 entries for the domain: A (specify the store's IP address - 23.227.38.65) and CNAME (add the correspondence www and shops.myshopify.com. - dot after com is required for correct operation)
  3. Add registered domains in the store control panel (Admin - Domains - Add domain)
  4. Set the registered domain name in the control panel as primary (Admin - Domains - Set as primary)
  5. Wait until registration is completed (up to 24 hours)
